The Winter Escape
This piece is part of Ting Yuen‘s "Sisterhood" series.
This painting is inspired by my niece, who is a lovely girl, full of potential, filled with high hopes and dreams. I painted Hannah in the middle of a stormy winter day because I was very in awe by the snow covered trees, they looked as if they were wearing ball gowns. Captivated by both the snow and the lovely demeanor of my niece, I painted her in an outside- in illusion, like a dreamer that she is.
