Reflection
This piece is part of Ting Yuen’s Artist Diary Series.
Reflection is about how we are all mirror images of each other. We have our dreams and our fears and that is the reason why her skirt reflects the environment that she is in. The little blue bag she carries symbolizes the baggage that we carry with us, I strategically placed the bird motif on the bag to remind us that we need to be freed from it. And the tree in the background is the ideal world we should be in, always blossoming and growing.
