From My Studio Window II
This painting is part of Ting Yuen’s Landscape Series.
I have had many studios in my career as an artist. I loved each and everyone of them. Some were small, some were makeshift for the painting season and a few were even in the kitchen. For me, it really does not matter as long as there is a space for my easel and paint, I can create. This particular studio was a very productive one, it served as half storage, half creative space. My window looked out to the neighbourhood where many things seemed to happen, it was a busy corner. The energy was high and my work flowed endlessly in this space, I painted twelve paintings in this studio and am thankful for it’s productive space.
