It is located in the Southwestern part of Burgess Pass in the Emerald and Kicking Horse Rivers Valley and is renowned for its’ impressive fossil beds. Mount Burgess is a crown jewel in the Canadian rocky Mountain National Park and the source of major scientific discoveries about the evolution of life on earth.
I hope to visit this fascinating Mountain in the upcoming fall season and discover this Canadian Jewel first hand.
