Self Acceptance IV
This painting is part of a Boudoir line about womanhood and growth. It is part of Ting Yuen’s Artist Diary Series.
This is about loving and accepting yourself. The mirror is a reflection of everything she’s done and gone through in her life. Learning to accept and trust yourself through hard times can be a challenge but in the end your destiny is with yourself. Love begins with you and from there you can learn to love others.
“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.” Marilyn Monroe
