Make Believe
This piece is part of Ting Yuen’s Artist Diary Series.
This is the first painting that I painted specifically for children’s rooms. I have to say it was great fun to paint “Make Believe” because kids are super creative which inspires me to play with my imagination as well. In this painting, the oldest boy just finished school and has thrown on his Native Indian costume with bow and arrows to match, pulling his pet rabbit for a walk. His little brother, following him completely dressed up as a Dinosaur and his little sister follows suit dressed up as the Sheriff. It’s going to be a fun afternoon of Make Believe. And who do you think has the wildest imagination?
